Meet the Team

At Loper Financial, we pride ourselves on a team approach. We work closely with each other and with the team at Blue Ridge Financial, with whom we share a broker. We are separate companies, each branded differently and applying our own business philosophy, but working together to better one another and to achieve the best outcomes for our clients. We combine our resources and skillsets to ensure that every client reaps the benefits of our many decades of experience, our multiple perspectives, and our ability to build truly holistic financial plans. You might work with a single advisor, but there are no "lone wolves" on our team. We support each other as we work to support you and your financial goals.

Cristina Peniche

With over 7 years of experience in the financial services industry, I have developed strong skills in financial planning, communication, and investment recommendations. As a financial advisor at Edward Jones, I partnered with clients to understand their goals, needs, and preferences, and provided them with personalized and tailored solutions. I also leveraged my MA in strategic communications to create and deliver engaging and informative presentations, workshops, and newsletters to educate and empower clients and prospects. Previously, I worked as a financial associate at Wells Fargo Advisors, where I supported a team of senior advisors in managing a large portfolio of accounts, conducting research, analysis, and reporting, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. I am passionate about helping people achieve their financial and personal goals, and I am always eager to learn new skills and insights in the rapidly changing and dynamic field of finance.

I am a native to Virginia; I attended Sweet Briar College and graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor’s in Liberal Arts. I then went on to complete my Masters in Communication. In 2016, I joined the Wealth Management industry. After growing to love the process of helping clients move through various life transitions, I decided to move into the Financial Advisor role.

David Binns-Loveman

I have been in the business world for over 20 years. After starting my career in 1993 in engineering and
technology consulting, I made a major change in 2005 to financial services. I have always been an analyst, planner, and problem solver, just in different industries over my career.

As a financial professional, I prefer to take a holistic approach with my clients, evaluating their total financial circumstances, developing a strategy for their current and future needs, and recommending solutions to fulfill that strategy.

I work with clients of varying incomes and asset levels. As a biological and adoptive father of four, I particularly enjoy working with families to address their needs, including life insurance, retirement, and
college education planning.

I am a self-professed geek and lifelong learner. As such, I have earned several credentials in the financial
planning arena.

I am experienced in many aspects of financial planning, and might even be able to fix your computer.
